Brandisii
This is the tallest bamboo in the world. The culms are very thick walled. Brandisii poles make good timber and the shoots are edible. This bamboo will get the specified height but needs excellent growing conditions to achieve this. Otherwise it is unusual to see it taller than 25 metres.
