Timor Black has chocolate-black culms and light green foliage. It can create a wonderful screen or as a feature plant. Timor Black has a fairly vertical habit and can be kept to a 1-2metre wide base. Timor Black can make an excellent potted plant and will thrive indoors provided it gets enough fresh air and sunlight. It can be a useful source of timber for arts and crafts and has edible shoots.
